Default 2014 Giveaway - HOW TO ENTER

    Rules for drawing:

    1) Only 1,000 chances will be issued, maximum.

    2) "Tickets" are numbered chances and not printed material.

    3) "Tickets" will be numbered from 000 to 999.

    4) All winning "tickets" will be decided by the winning "Pick 3" number from the Georgia state lottery, date to be decided and announced once all tickets are sold out.

    5) Prizes will be given away on consecutive days starting with the Grand Prize and moving daily to the Second Prize, Third Prize, etc. until all prizes have been given away.

You can see previous winning numbers here:

    http://www.lotterypost.com/game/42/results

    6) Tickets may be purchased by the following 2 methods:

    A) By check or money order - make either out to "Gary Collier" and mail to:

    Gary Collier
    514 Northampton Rd.
    Leesburg, GA 31763

Please e/mail me (garybcollier@aol.com) and let me know in advance so I can reserve your (winning?) numbers early.

    B) You can send money through Paypal, also. BE SURE you do the following:

B-1) My Paypal address is: leftyfrets@gmail.com

B-2) If you type ANYTHING just type "A donation to LeftyFrets" - period.

B-3) Please mark it as a "Gift" when you send it.

B-4) Please tell me your name and/or your LF user name!

    7) "Tickets" are $5 apiece and are sold ONLY in 5-ticket "blocks"!

    8) "Ticket" numbers will be issued upon receipt and in sequential order unless you request certain numbers in blocks of 5 minimum (or 10, 15, 20, etc.). I will try to accomodate you but the numbers may vary slightly as the board fills up!

    9) I will post a list of all purchased "ticket" numbers with their "owner" as they are purchased, so everyone can see who the winners are.

    10) LeftyFrets retains the right to add, change or delete any of these rules at my sole discretion.

    11) Only one prize will be awarded per entrant.

    12) All prize winners shall have their choice of prizes, starting with the 1st winner and in order after that.

    13) If a previous winner's numbers come up in the Georgia daily mid-day drawing, we will then use the NY Lottery's 3-digit numbers for that same day as the winning number instead. You can see those results here:

    http://www.lotterypost.com/results/ny

    14) If individual members who also happen to operate music/guitar/instrument ventures wish to purchase chances, they can do so AS INDIVIDUALS. Individuals who own or operate a music store or business agree not to resell any prizes awarded through their store or business. Please remember that, while this is a fundraiser, it's also a LF community event and we want all to have an equal chance to participate.

    Let the games begin!

I want to reiterate that each entrant can only win one prize. As in past Giveaways, it will be inevitable that someone who has already won will have one or more of their other numbers show up in the various daily "Pick-3" drawings. Therefore we will go by the following order, should that occur.

    1) The first daily "Pick-3" lottery number that will be checked first, every day, will be from the Georgia lottery as shown here at "mid-day":

    http://www.lotterypost.com/game/42/results

    2) In case that daily number is a duplicate, the next state lottery that I will check will be the New York lottery (in a nod to my friend George Schneider, who had the suggestion for how to set this up 3 years ago in 2010 - thanks, George!). Evidently NY has TWO daily drawings for their "Pick 3", so the 2nd choice for this purpose will be their mid-day drawing. You can see it here:

    http://www.lotterypost.com/results/ny

    3) The next lottery, if needed, will be from the great state of North Carolina (in a nod to my deputy and friend Mark Parchment). Evidently the "Pick 3" number there also has a fourth, double-digit number, so the only numbers we'll use are (obviously) the first 3 as seen in the top category here:

    http://www.nc-educationlottery.org/

    4) In the event we STILL need a winning number for a particular day, we will next visit the mid-day winning number from the "Cash 3" drawing in Tennessee as shown here:

    http://www.tnlottery.com/default2.aspx

    5) Last-but-not-least-department: If we still haven't gotten a daily winner, we will go to the "Cash 3" mid-day number from the Florida lottery as shown here:

    http://flalottery.com/winningNumbers.do

If we don't have a daily winner after viewing FIVE state lotteries, we will roll over to the next day and begin at the top again.

REMEMBER - when you win you have YOUR CHOICE of ANY prize that is unclaimed! The only prizes that will be held back will be the unclaimed prizes for the Grand Prize (as there are 2 choices).

Shortly after the 1,000 tickets sell out! We're almost to 200 in the 1st day so I hope it won't take long!

Tickets are sold in $25 blocks only (5 tickets = 1 block) in order to save the proprietor (that's me) from going crazy!

Just send $25 or $50 (or more, if you want) as a GIFT to:

    leftyfrets@gmail.com

Thanks to all who have entered so far!

Nope, Paypal still won't allow the transaction for some reason. I don't see a "Gift" option anymore.
